Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by RageCaptcha to explain what data we collect and how we handle it. We collect only what we need to run the Service reliably.

1. Data We Collect

• Account data: username, email, hashed password.
• Usage data: task IDs, timestamps, status, solve time, and error messages tied to your API key.
• Technical data: IP address and user-agent, retained short-term for abuse prevention.
• Billing data: balance top-ups. Card details are handled by the payment processor; we never see them.

2. How We Use It

• To authenticate you and provide the Service.
• To bill and to show your task history in the dashboard.
• To detect abuse, fraud, and prohibited use per our AUP.
• To send transactional email (verification codes, password resets).

3. What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not send marketing email without opt-in.
• We do not inspect or store the content of the tokens we generate beyond what's needed to return them to you.

4. Retention

Task history is retained while your account is active. Verification codes and reset tokens expire within minutes and are hashed at rest. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days, except where a longer period is required to comply with law or resolve disputes.

5. Security

Passwords are hashed. Traffic is served over TLS. Access to production systems is restricted and audited. No system is perfectly secure — if you discover a vulnerability, please report it to security@ragecaptcha.com.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing privacy@ragecaptcha.com. Depending on your jurisdiction you may have additional rights (GDPR, CCPA). We respond within 30 days.

7. Third Parties

We use a small number of subprocessors — a hosting/database provider, an email delivery service, and Cloudflare Turnstile for human verification. Each is bound by their own policies and processes only the data required to perform their function.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced on the dashboard and take effect after the notice period.
